The good news is, I like a whole heck of a lot, so don't feel obligated to hit a lot of or even any of the beats in my general or fandom-specific likes! As long as you're avoiding my DNWs, I'm happy.
My fandoms for this exchange are Life is Strange, Baldur's Gate, and Adventure Time. I have this letter sorted by fandom and by pairing, but if you want to mix-and-match one idea to another pairing or another fandom, go for it. If you want to add a character from one relationship tag into another, go for it! I'm a multishipper and easily pleased.
I like canon compliance and canon divergence and AUs that have nothing to do with canon. I like a healthy dynamic where everyone does their best to communicate and meet in the middle and I like a dynamic where everyone involved shouldn't be in the same plane of existence as the other. I like fluff and angst and smut and plot and whatever intersection of those things your heart desires. If you can't tell, I like a lot and am generally easy to please! If you have fun writing it, I will almost certainly have fun reading it.

They're so sweet and so sad and I love both versions of them VERY much. I think Max's protectiveness over Kate (and Chloe, of course) is one of her best qualities, and saving or not saving Kate is one of the most impactful moments of the original game to me.

I like them a lot, but sometimes I see Chasefield where Victoria is totally defanged, and while that's fun, don't feel like you have to stick to it. Victoria is, canonically, a girl who bullied a sexual assault survivor to the point of attempting (and potentially succeeding) in suicide, and Max has the option to be monstrous right back. Let them be absolute messes, even if they do genuinely care about each other! That being said, tooth-rotting fluff is also so welcome and fun.
One of them asking the other to be their model for a photography class project. Victoria notices something's off about Max (it's the rewind). Getting together. Holding hands. A heated argument that feels more fun than usual. Antagonizing each other in a way that's increasingly more playful and flirtatious than actually mean. Getting married, in whatever that looks like for a tiefling who spent a decade in the Hells and a githyanki warrior. A honeymoon that keeps getting interrupted by Zariel or Vlaakith's agents. Both of them missing the romance they had in Faerûn while they languish in Avernus/the Astral Plane. Sleeping together, not ever having a real relationship, but finding they miss each other more than anyone else when they're both away from everyone. An attempt at love letters. Modern AU costume party; Lae'zel's really competitive, but even she admits Karlach looks really hot. Soulmate AU. Superhero AU. Coffee shop AU.
Shadowlach - Karlach/Shadowheart
They're really so sweet, but the angst potential is also so good. I really like them as mutually pining but not approaching each other for whatever reason, but if you've got a different dynamic for them, I will eat it up, too.
Shadowheart sleeps with Karlach when she gets her engine fixed, because she's gorgeous and it's a sweet thing to do, and they both realize they're more into each other than they thought. Setting up camp together while the rest of the party is out adventuring. Dark Justiciar Shadowheart breaking Karlach's heart when she says she'll never care for anyone more than Shar (bonus points for her overhearing Karlach telling someone else about it). Sensuality. I am always and forever a proponent of "they have two hands", so feel free to write this as sweet or as messy as you like. Healthily-communicated polyamory and infidelity are equally fine and enjoyed.
Shadowzel are into Karlach and Karlach is fine just watching while they wait for her engine to be fixed; Lae’zel and Shadowheart will put aside their fight for her sake... if only for now. Devils...hot. That's all I got. She's the worst but man, do I want her. I also do really like the idea of a Tav who likes her more than physically and how they reckon with having actual feelings for a literal devil, and how that devil responds. (I imagine less than kindly, but go with whatever characterization you like best!)
Sadism/masochism. Angst. Mizora coveting Tav's affections even if she doesn't return them. Mizora furious that Tav nearly dies because it means she'd lose her...her soul, that is. Comfort but in an explicitly manipulative way. Tav letting Mizora feast on her pain. Tav getting drunk enough to forget why Mizora is a really bad vice to indulge in. Ghost Tav haunting Mizora (bonus points for that being, in some way, Mizora's own fault). A morally conflicted Tav fucking Mizora but it devolves into a fight during or after. Business AU.

Ghost Aylin haunting Shadowheart on an evil run, and her lover Minthara isn't a fan of that. Aylin happy with Isobel, Shadowheart pining after Aylin, Minthara caring deeply for Shadowheart (she'd never call it pining). Minthara knowing what she feels for both Aylin and Shadowheart is deeper than a casual affection but not letting herself indulge because they're both too naive, and she doesn't like to share, anyway. Angst. An unhappy ending. Minthara leaves for the Underdark without telling Aylin or Shadowheart after they defeat the Absolute. Shadowheart begging either or both of them to stay with her. Vet clinic AU. Historian AU.

They can and would make each other worse. They also would care about each other deeply. Shadowheart's "bad" end being so tied to devotion to Shar and Minthara's utter disdain for the gods mesh so well together. Which is to say, they clash horribly, but in a way I am very interested in.
Minthara admiring Shadowheart's new hair, if not her new goddess. A lazy morning post-canon with Minthara affectionately dosing Shadowheart's food so she builds up a resistance to drow poisons. Shadowheart admiring Minthara's muscles; Minthara offers to train her, as clearly the Sharrans weren't up to task. Minthara admiring Shadowheart's magic, which is impressive despite its source. Shadowheart rescuing Minthara from Moonrise Towers, something in her resonating with seeing someone's memories ripped from them that she won't examine too closely. Restaurant AU. Biker AU. Webangel - Dame Aylin/Minthara
Toxic yuri, yes, but also: two paladins of vengeance whose oaths are something more complicated than a simple mission. Aylin who suffered for centuries despite never losing her mother's favor; Minthara who knows Lolth cast her aside and loathes the gods, including Aylin's mother. They're very similar in many ways but also their worldviews are so radically different. I think it could be so compelling and soooo messy.
Respect to begrudging affection to genuine love. Arguments. Comfort. Understanding without conversation. Canon divergence. Aylin admiring the Underdark flora in Minthara's tent. Both of them having a complex about making sure the other has a good time in bed, to the point of competition. Infidelity (and what that would even look like, for two women who are so loyal?). Orin the Red x Shar
Okay, this one requires some explanation. I think Orin would give almost anything to forget how Bhaal dragged her Slayer form out of her after learning the truth about her birth, and we know Shar likes taking other gods' toys. It's a weird, messy, definitely-not-canon-compliant type of post-canon pairing, but it's a really fun dynamic to play with. Also, I think they should get weird with it.
Orin's gratitude after Shar wipes her mind. Shar's whispers in Orin's mind, knowing the Dead Three are too brash to notice such subtleties. Orin prays at one of Shar's statues. Orin visits the House of Grief. Sacrifices. Grief for what could have been. Death. Toxic yuri, yes, but also: two paladins of vengeance whose oaths are something more complicated than a simple mission. Aylin who suffered for centuries despite never losing her mother's favor; Minthara who knows Lolth cast her aside and loathes the gods, including Aylin's mother. They're very similar in many ways but also their worldviews are so radically different. I think it could be so compelling and soooo messy.
Respect to begrudging affection to genuine love. Arguments. Comfort. Understanding without conversation. Canon divergence. Aylin admiring the Underdark flora in Minthara's tent. Both of them having a complex about making sure the other has a good time in bed, to the point of competition. Infidelity (and what that would even look like, for two women who are so loyal?). Restaurant AU. Modern AU.
Orin the Red x Shar
Okay, this one requires some explanation. I think Orin would give almost anything to forget how Bhaal dragged her Slayer form out of her after learning the truth about her birth, and we know Shar likes taking other gods' toys. It's a weird, messy, definitely-not-canon-compliant type of post-canon pairing, but it's a really fun dynamic to play with. Also, I think they should get weird with it.
Orin's gratitude after Shar wipes her mind. Shar's whispers in Orin's mind, knowing the Dead Three are too brash to notice such subtleties. Orin prays at one of Shar's statues.
